Cityworks Design is developing Objective Residential Standards (ORS) for the City of Redondo Beach that will provide residents, architects and developers straight-forward criteria that reflects the community’s interest in maintaining neighborhood character. The ORS will apply to new or renovated residential buildings. By establishing clear and objective direction of what is required of a project, the planning review process will be streamlined. Design standards will be included for the city’s single-family and multi-family zones and based on input from community, local designers, developers and Planning Commission members.
