Cityworks Design provided urban design leadership in the production of 15% design plans of First/Last Mile (FLM) improvements. Based on community input, the potential projects will improve connectivity, accessibility, safety, and comfort for transit riders by enhancing the walking, biking, or rolling (wheelchair, skateboard, scooter) experience within the half-mile project area. Approximately $3.6M has been awarded to the City of Los Angeles through the Metro Active Transport (MAT) Grant Program to implement the FLM improvements.
